Description

  • Lead the development and execution of value strategy for priority vertical industries.
  • Define vertical positioning scope, including target segments, buyer roles, KPIs, and competitor sets.
  • Build quantified vertical value impact models and validate value claims with internal and customer data.
  • Own ICP definition, target account prioritization, and CAPDB updates for each priority vertical.
  • Maintain vertical market intelligence, including win/loss analysis, buyer journey maps, TAM/SAM sizing, and competitive research.
  • Develop messaging guides, sales plays, battle cards, proposal templates, ROI calculators, and other sales-ready enablement assets.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Professional Services, Sales, SDRs, ABM, and Product teams to validate models and support adoption.
  • Translate product capabilities into vertical-specific launch narratives and lead PMM input during launch planning and readiness reviews.
  • Lead and develop PMMs aligned to vertical clusters and establish operating cadences for GTM readiness and accountability.
  • Provide vertical segment inputs to annual planning and help shape GTM architecture, channel strategy, and implementation overlays.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, industry marketing, or GTM strategy in B2B SaaS.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing or mentoring other marketers.
  • Direct experience developing value positioning for complex enterprise buyers in one or more priority verticals, preferably Life Sciences, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Government, or Professional Services.
  • Hands-on experience building industry-specific value propositions, ROI models, and use-case messaging based on buyer research.
  • Strong competitive differentiation skills and ability to sharpen positioning around areas of genuine right-to-win.
  • Ability to manage multiple vertical workstreams in parallel with strong operational discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA or an advanced degree preferred.
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.
