Description

  • Create high-converting landing pages, interactive web experiences, and digital campaigns for product marketing.
  • Develop task flows, wireframes, and low- to high-fidelity interactive prototypes using user and business data.
  • Provide assets, specifications, redlines, and implementation guidance for developer hand-off.
  • Rapidly iterate designs for A/B testing and experimentation.
  • Follow, improve, and scale existing design patterns, style guides, and marketing design systems.
  • Collaborate with motion designers, developers, content marketers, SEO specialists, and cross-functional teams to deliver technically feasible and responsive web experiences.
  • Build, update, and manage web pages directly in Drupal while maintaining visual consistency and best practices.
  • Support UX work such as user research, usability testing, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Research new tools and best practices and advocate for process and production efficiency improvements.
  • Manage multiple large and small projects with overlapping priorities and document work thoroughly.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing experiences for complex, data-driven web and mobile applications, with a focus on B2B, SaaS, or marketing websites.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong typography, layout, conversion-focused design, and interactive web elements.
  • Strong interaction design and prototyping skills.
  • High proficiency with UX/UI tools such as Figma, XD, and Zeplin, plus Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how modern web frameworks operate; JSON knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience working closely with developers to implement design vision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across visual, written, verbal, and presentation formats.
  • Ability to stay organized, track work, and document deliverables.
  • Academic studies, certifications, or relevant experience in Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design, or UX/UI Design are a plus.
  • Experience creating, exporting, and implementing web animations using LottieFiles and JSON is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing sites in Drupal or a similar CMS.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and user journey mapping.
  • Experience with user testing, heatmaps such as Hotjar or CrazyEgg, and analytics-driven design decisions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and their impact on web design is a plus.
  • Experience creating assets for social media or paid ad campaigns is a plus.
  • Must reside in Costa Rica and be eligible for remote work within Costa Rica.
