Description

  • Serve as the primary operational contact and trusted adviser for assigned enterprise clients.
  • Manage the end-to-end localisation job lifecycle across Smartling and client project or content management tools.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including engineering, QA, and vendor management.
  • Design and optimize localisation processes and configurations for client requirements.
  • Resolve client and internal operational issues independently and collaboratively.
  • Drive process improvements, document best practices, and implement automation and AI-enabled workflow solutions.
  • Provide status updates, surface risks, manage competing priorities, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Document root causes and preventative actions to improve account operations and service quality.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in localisation or translation project management, preferably in a managed services or agency environment.
  • Understanding of localisation file formats, content types, and CAT/TMS tools.
  • Strong client management skills, including leading calls and handling difficult conversations.
  • Proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as Jira, Asana, Google Sheets, or Looker.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, and vendor management.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities across time zones.
  • Hands-on experience with Smartling or TMS platforms such as Phrase, XTM, or MemoQ preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or SaaS clients in operational or customer-facing roles preferred.
  • Fluency or working proficiency in a second language and interest in language technology or global content strategy preferred.
