Description

  • Own the end-to-end mathematical design process for complex game titles.
  • Design mathematical models that balance player experience, volatility, hit frequency, RTP, and commercial goals.
  • Develop novel slot mechanics and game concepts.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Game Designers to turn ideas into mathematically sound frameworks.
  • Build, maintain, and use Monte Carlo simulation tools to test and optimise game models.
  • Create auditable mathematical documentation and technical specifications for game models.
  • Ensure models and documentation meet internal standards and regulatory requirements across target markets.
  • Partner with Developers, QA, Artists, and Product Owners to integrate the math model into the final game.
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support throughout development.
  • Analyse competitor games and market trends to identify opportunities for new features.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in slot game mathematics.
  • Good knowledge of combinatorics, probability theory, and quantitative analysis.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good knowledge of programming.
  • University degree in mathematics or another numerate discipline such as statistics, physics, or engineering.
  • Experience in team management or mentoring (nice to have).
  • OOP experience (nice to have).
  • Interest in playing slots (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of game trends (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of Java (nice to have).
