Description

  • Build and maintain the core UI, including map interactions, chat, data tables, and file-upload flows.
  • Develop map-centric interfaces that render large feature sets.
  • Display tabular results from spatial queries.
  • Support backend development, including API design and server-side persistence, alongside the AI engineer.
  • Contribute to AI-powered chat functionality, including latency management and streaming partial results.
  • Deliver measurable outputs from onboarding.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of TypeScript full-stack engineering experience with React and Node.
  • 2+ years of experience building map-centric frontends with Mapbox GL or equivalent libraries such as MapLibre, Leaflet, or deck.gl.
  • 3+ years of production experience building data-heavy product interfaces, including tables, editors, and upload flows.
  • 4+ years of experience designing backend services with Postgres, including API design, typesafe query layers, authentication, and authorization.
  • 5+ years of overall professional experience at a senior level.
  • Familiarity with geospatial data preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience visualizing large browser-based datasets using vector tiles or similar approaches preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience building chat and streaming interfaces preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with serverless AWS preferred.
  • Understanding of AI interface challenges, including latency and streaming partial results, preferred.
