Description

  • Identify potential federal sales opportunities, initiate sales momentum, and close new business.
  • Build proposals and manage opportunities from business opportunity through proposal development and award.
  • Develop, refine, and progress capture plan strategies in support of federal and DoD growth.
  • Attend business development meetings such as kickoffs, status reviews, and approvals.
  • Partner with executive leadership to execute federal and DoD sales growth strategies.
  • Achieve annual sales targets and build opportunity pipelines for future periods.
  • Develop and execute sales call plans for target agencies and program managers.
  • Build industry relationships and represent the company at industry events.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, proposal managers, and program management teams.
  • Meet or exceed performance goals that support corporate growth and new business sales success.

Requirements

  • Prior successful track record meeting sales quotas and acquiring new logos.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the federal sales cycle and procurement processes.
  • Proven experience selling individually, growing revenue, and executing strategic campaigns within the federal public sector.
  • Experience with software, IT, or mobile sales is preferred.
  • Experience establishing and growing relationships through software channels.
  • Experience building and maintaining high-level relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and close new customers.
  • BA/BS degree is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per year.
  • Bonus programs available, with details discussed during the recruiting process.
  • Salary determined based on factors including internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty, and training.
  • Local cost-of-living assessment applied at the time of offer.
