Description

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for assigned work.
  • Review deliverables to ensure high quality and consistency.
  • Contribute to system architecture, including work across multiple teams.
  • Collaborate with peers on designing highly scalable systems.
  • Facilitate discussions around processes, solutions, and technology decisions.
  • Support sprint deliverables and help ensure team predictability.
  • Mentor peers, share knowledge, and foster continuous learning within the team.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
  • Help resolve differences in tactics or approach and work collaboratively toward team goals.

Requirements

  • Experience with Typescript, Javascript, and/or Golang.
  • Experience with Node runtimes.
  • Experience with React, Angular, Vue.js, and/or Next.js.
  • Experience with unit testing practices, frameworks, and libraries.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Google Spanner DB, MongoDB, and query/database optimization.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JSON, and source control systems such as Git, TFS, or SVN.
  • Experience with CI platforms such as CodePipeline or Argo, including pipeline setup and Terraforming.
  • Experience taking ownership of system operations support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Google Cloud platforms is preferred.
  • Experience using Google Cloud services such as Buckets and Cloud Functions.
  • Experience capturing application usage metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, New Relic, Amplitude, or DataDog.
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate across teams and departments.

Benefits

  • $130,000 - $190,000 annual salary.
  • Medical insurance with company contributions and three plan options through United Healthcare.
  • Dental insurance with the company paying 75% of the monthly premium for the base plan.

  • 401(k) plan with 50% company match up to the first 6% of eligible earnings.
