Description

  • Develop simulation capabilities for products and services within the SkyGrid environment.
  • Serve as the focal point for integrating simulation tools and resources from Boeing, Wisk, and external partners.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep simulation projects on track.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive working environment within the simulation team.
  • Support continuous improvement of simulation processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Prepare and present technical updates to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Update simulation artifacts through development, validation, and certification phases of the program.
  • Support prototyping and conceptual validation of technology and services using SkyGrid simulation frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in simulation development, systems integration, or similar technical domains.
  • Strong understanding of simulation frameworks, tools, and architectures.
  • Experience integrating third-party simulation tools and APIs.
  • Experience coding in Python, MATLAB, Simulink, or equivalent languages to build and test simulation models.
  • Experience documenting simulation and design artifacts for handoff to development teams.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience conducting large-scale simulation demonstrations with third-party software and documenting test artifacts preferred.
  • Experience developing simulation visualization tools preferred.
  • Experience in Air Traffic Management or safety-critical systems development preferred.
