Description

  • Manage a team of external QA testers and testing partners.
  • Design and implement QA strategies, workflows, and standards for each title, platform, and risk area.
  • Partner with producers, development leads, and platform holders to establish testing priorities, milestones, and coverage goals.
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scenario coverage across game systems, modes, and platforms.
  • Triage and prioritize defects with development teams and track resolution through certification.
  • Maintain audit-ready test plans, coverage matrices, defect logs, and certification records.
  • Report testing status and risks to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor QA tools, methodologies, and industry practices to improve team processes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in senior QA roles across the full game production lifecycle.
  • Experience leading testing teams, including people management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency with bug-tracking, test-management, and version-control tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and judgment in prioritizing ship-quality risks.
  • Enthusiasm for games and understanding of gameplay mechanics and player expectations.

Benefits
