Description

  • Conduct technical and content SEO audits to identify visibility gaps and prioritize action plans.
  • Improve client visibility in AI search surfaces including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
  • Lead keyword research, search intent mapping, and content brief development for SERPs and AI surfaces.
  • Review crawlability, indexation, schema, Core Web Vitals, and rendering, and partner with development teams on fixes.
  • Set up and interpret performance reporting across GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and AI visibility tools.
  • Evaluate new AI search tools as they emerge and help assess their value.
  • Brief writers and designers on SEO/AEO requirements and collaborate across client and internal teams.
  • Join client calls as the SEO subject matter expert.
  • Develop answer-first content, structured data, entity optimization, and citation strategies for AI search.
  • Work across a mix of B2B and B2C client projects.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of hands-on SEO experience across technical, on-page, and content optimization.
  • Agency or enterprise background is preferred.
  • Active experience in AI search optimization, including AEO, GEO, and AIO.
  • Proven experimentation with AI search optimization and measurable results.
  • Fluency with Ahrefs or SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Schema.org, and at least one AI visibility tracker.
  • Strong understanding of editorial quality, entity clarity, and answer-first content structure.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical clients and provide actionable recommendations for creative teams.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and iterating through testing and measurement.
  • Experience across both B2B and B2C brands, ideally including technical or enterprise B2B and consumer clients.
