Description

  • Research missing television program synopses using broadcaster and official source materials.
  • Write and update program descriptions for internal metadata records.
  • Proofread and edit synopsis content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and US English standards.
  • Verify program descriptions for factual correctness, completeness, and editorial consistency before entry.
  • Create, update, and enter synopsis records into internal systems.
  • Identify and resolve gaps, inconsistencies, and duplicates in program metadata through research and correction.
  • Maintain content quality standards and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the content development team and report to the Operations Manager - Content Development.

Requirements

  • University degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Business, Data, or a related field.
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong structured working style and the ability to spot errors quickly.
  • Comfort working with data search, computers, and databases.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same.
  • Great collaborative skills and a strong willingness to learn and improve continuously.
  • Passion for the product and for the value of high-quality metadata.
  • Strong drive to succeed and willingness to get hands-on with the work.
  • Ability to submit CVs in English.
  • Training will be provided on US English editorial and language standards.
