Description

  • Research and create detailed data entries for sports events, tournaments, and leagues.
  • Identify and create new programs in the database when needed.
  • Conduct background research to verify sports event information.
  • Merge identical and duplicate programs in the database.
  • Double-check entries and correct inconsistencies.
  • Ensure customer data sets are complete, timely, and error-free.
  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of the sports database used for content discovery.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of major North American sports leagues, including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and college sports.
  • Basic understanding of major global sports events such as Tennis Grand Slams, Formula 1, the Olympic Games, and the Tour de France.
  • University degree in a relevant field such as Sports Management, Journalism, Business, or Data.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
  • Highly structured and detail-oriented approach.
  • Comfort working with data, databases, and online research tools.
  • Comfortable with data search, computers, and databases.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Motivation to learn new tools and processes every day.
  • Collaborative mindset and enjoyment of working in an international team.
  • Passion for metadata, sports, and delivering great user experiences.
  • CVs must be submitted in English.
