Description

  • Source candidates using job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn), military transition platforms, professional networks, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines and proactively identify passive candidates using Boolean searches and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Review resumes and applications against position requirements and conduct initial phone screens to evaluate qualifications, interest, and availability.
  • Prepare and deliver structured candidate summaries and coordinate interview feedback with hiring managers.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers and maintain accurate candidate records and status updates in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Draft, edit, and post job descriptions on internal and external job boards.
  • Support recruiting operations by producing weekly pipeline reports and tracking recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill).
  • Provide offer support and assist with overall recruiting operations, including collaboration with BD, proposals, and hiring managers.

Requirements

  • Participation in the DoD SkillBridge program (targeted to transitioning service members) and availability for a structured 26-week, full-time remote internship.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or 4+ years of military experience in administration, personnel, or human resources as a substitute for the degree.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently, meet deadlines reliably, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive candidate and employee information responsibly and follow information governance and documentation standards.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HRIS platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with job boards and sourcing tools and prior experience conducting interviews, counseling sessions, or personnel briefs (preferred).
  • Interest in talent acquisition, human resources, and workforce development, and comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams.
