Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and maintain software solutions for financial processes.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
  • Develop new software features as part of an integrated engineering team.
  • Use accounting domain knowledge to identify gaps and improve automation and reconciliation workflows.
  • Evaluate and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics.
  • Provide support and consulting on software system usage.
  • Design, develop, install, and document software solutions.
  • Write high-quality code that complies with coding standards and technical design.
  • Ensure solutions meet project plans and industry standards.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in a mid-level development role.
  • Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst.
  • Strong understanding of financial operations, including reconciliation, reporting, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with backend API development.
  • Experience with relational databases and data storage/retrieval, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology, and release processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Golang, TypeScript, React, React Native, AWS, Kubernetes, Git, or GitLab is preferred.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing is preferred.
