Description

  • Build and maintain new product features while learning new areas of the platform.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and feature owners to design, develop, and deliver enhancements.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions for next-generation platform features.
  • Contribute to code reviews and work hands-on in the codebase.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
  • Help build and deploy scalable solutions with the team.
  • Assist with planning, estimation, and delivery of stakeholder-driven projects.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to production incidents.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience for this mid-level development role.
  • Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred, or equivalent related experience.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend development; React experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with backend-focused languages like Go or another statically typed compiled language.
  • Intermediate understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Knowledge of automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, preferred.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API principles and design, preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of microservice architecture, preferred.
  • Close familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodology, and release processes, preferred.
