Description

  • Build and enhance core Dataiku DSS product features across one of several engineering themes, including data preparation, AI/ML, data consumption, visualization, MLOps, platform, or AI governance.
  • Develop tools for data integration, transformation, cataloging, and workflow support for notebooks, SQL workbenches, and APIs.
  • Create and improve AI and machine learning features such as LLM APIs, model integrations, forecasting, and experiment support.
  • Enhance collaborative workspaces and user interfaces that help users organize, explore, and act on data insights.
  • Develop charting, dashboarding, and data visualization capabilities with a focus on performance and flexibility.
  • Build backend capabilities for automating model retraining, monitoring, deployment, and cross-functional ML collaboration.
  • Improve platform scalability, latency, cloud integrations, and support for additional databases and engines.
  • Develop features for AI compliance, governance, policy enforcement, and integration across systems.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in software engineering and building a real product.
  • Hiring is open to junior, mid-level, and senior candidates.
  • Strong interest in combining backend performance with exceptional frontend user experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with engineering challenges at scale.
  • Experience with relevant technologies across the stack, including Java, Python, Angular, AngularJS, React, Node.js, Kubernetes, Docker, Spark, AWS, Azure, GCP, PostgreSQL, D3.js, ECharts, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Spring, depending on the team.
  • Full remote work from anywhere in Germany or onsite/hybrid in the Berlin office.
  • Experience with data preparation, machine learning, MLOps, platform engineering, or data visualization is relevant depending on the theme.
  • Interest in working in a product-focused environment with strong collaboration across engineering and research teams.
