Description

  • Build and maintain new product features while learning new areas of the platform.
  • Collaborate with engineers across multiple teams to design, develop, and deliver features.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions for new platform capabilities.
  • Contribute to the codebase through implementation and code reviews.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their growth.
  • Help build, deploy, and improve scalable solutions with the team.
  • Assist with project planning, estimates, and completion for stakeholder-driven work.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to production incidents.
  • Work with feature owners to provide feedback and suggest product improvements.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience for this mid-level development role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred, or equivalent related experience.
  • Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend development, with React experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with backend-focused languages such as Go or another compiled, statically typed language.
  • Intermediate understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Knowledge of automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, preferred.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design principles preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of microservice architecture preferred.
  • Close familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodologies, and release processes preferred.
