Description

  • Design software applications and features in Golang and React.
  • Build and maintain solutions within a distributed architecture that scale reliably.
  • Collaborate with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams on product design and delivery.
  • Develop metrics and use them to drive continuous improvement of existing products.
  • Deliver high-quality features that are testable and meet reporting standards.
  • Lead small development teams when needed to bring projects to market.
  • Mentor engineering teammates and help level up their skills and knowledge.
  • Iterate on solutions based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
  • Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go, or Java, Python, or a similar language.
  • Experience working in distributed, cloud-based architecture.
  • Familiarity with design patterns such as transactional outbox or queuing tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
  • BS in Computer Science or a similar degree.
  • Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus on the path forward.
  • Experience with SQL-based RDBMS through an ORM tool.
  • Comfort using observability platforms such as Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog for monitoring and alerting.
  • DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications.
  • 8+ years of experience is the compensation basis for the listed senior role level.
