Description

  • Help own and build new features for the cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure to support safe rollouts to millions of active users.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to ensure needs are evaluated and met.
  • Build clean, scalable, robust, and testable code with the team.
  • Develop deep working knowledge of the application, data domain, and KPIs.
  • Support continuous improvement of the mobile product and its underlying services.
  • Contribute to technical problem solving across the product and platform stack.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
  • Experience developing and delivering a mobile application to Apple and Google mobile app stores.
  • Strong familiarity with modern frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience building applications with React Native or a similar cross-platform framework.
  • Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Knowledge of automated testing for applications, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, and implementing tests in a CI environment (preferred).
  • Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java, or similar (preferred).
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture composed of HTTP APIs (preferred).
  • Experience working with native code on iOS and Android (preferred).
