Description

  • Build and maintain new product features in Sezzle’s cross-platform TypeScript React Native mobile app.
  • Solve technical challenges in high-traffic mobile applications with direct impact on customers and product outcomes.
  • Collaborate with feature owners and team members to improve product functionality and share constructive suggestions.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions for upcoming platform features.
  • Contribute hands-on to the codebase and perform code reviews.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.
  • Assist with planning, estimation, and project completion alongside stakeholders.
  • Support the mobile app as a platform and work with engineers across multiple teams on larger releases.

Requirements

  • Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred, or equivalent related experience.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with React Native or React web strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing and delivering a mobile application to the App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Knowledge of automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Familiarity with the basic principles and design of React Native apps and RESTful APIs.
  • Close familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodology, and release processes.

Benefits

  • Salary range based on level: Junior $2,200–$3,500 USD per month, Mid $3,500–$6,000 USD per month, Senior $4,700–$7,500 USD per month.
