Description

  • Help own and build new features for a cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app store infrastructure to support safe rollouts.
  • Partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to evaluate and meet requirements.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code with the team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the application, data domain, and key business metrics.
  • Lead features end-to-end from requirements through design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Perform high-quality code reviews with a focus on maintainability, clarity, and best practices.
  • Drive technical decisions and propose improvements to raise code quality across the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional mobile development experience.
  • At least 6+ months of experience with React Native or a similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience delivering a mobile application to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend development.
  • Deep understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing using tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
  • Ability to work effectively with product managers, designers, backend teams, and QA.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Preferred: Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with microservice architectures composed of HTTP APIs.
  • Preferred: Experience working with native code on iOS and Android.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $2,200 to $6,000 per month gross in USD, depending on level.
  • Junior compensation range of $2,200 to $3,500 USD per month.
  • Mid-level compensation range of $3,500 to $6,000 USD per month.
