Description

  • Help own and build new features for the cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage mobile releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app store infrastructure to support safe rollouts.
  • Work closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to evaluate and meet requirements.
  • Build clean, scalable, robust, and testable code with the engineering team.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the application, data domain, and KPIs.
  • Lead features end-to-end from requirements and design through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Perform high-quality code reviews focused on maintainability, clarity, and best practices.
  • Drive technical decisions and propose improvements that raise code quality across the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 6+ months with React Native or a similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience developing and delivering a mobile application to Apple and Google app stores.
  • Strong familiarity with modern frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript and React Native or a similar cross-platform framework.
  • Deep understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Strong familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, and Appium.
  • Ability to work well with product managers, designers, backend teams, and QA.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Preferred: ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Preferred: familiarity with microservice architectures composed of HTTP APIs.
  • Preferred: experience working with native code on iOS and Android.
  • Preferred: knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, Bitrise, and GitHub Actions.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $2,200 to $6,000 USD per month gross, depending on level.
  • Junior compensation range of $2,200 to $3,500 USD per month.
  • Mid-level compensation range of $3,500 to $6,000 USD per month.
  • Remote full-time role.
