Description

  • Help own and build new features in the cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app store infrastructure to ensure safe rollouts.
  • Collaborate with product, design, business, backend, and QA teams to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Build clean, scalable, robust, and testable code with the team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the application, data domain, and KPIs.
  • Lead features end-to-end from requirements and design through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Perform high-quality code reviews focused on maintainability, clarity, and best practices.
  • Drive technical decisions and propose improvements that raise code quality across the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 6+ months with React Native or a similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience developing and delivering a mobile application to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong familiarity with modern frontend development, JavaScript or TypeScript, and React Native or a similar cross-platform framework.
  • Deep understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Strong familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and E2E testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
  • Ability to lead features end-to-end from requirements through monitoring and improvement.
  • Capable of performing high-quality code reviews with a focus on maintainability and best practices.
  • Works well with product managers, designers, backend teams, and QA.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java, or similar (preferred).
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture composed of HTTP APIs (preferred).
  • Experience working with native code on iOS and Android (preferred).
  • Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions (preferred).

Benefits

  • Salary range of $2,200 - $6,000 USD per month gross, with mid-level pay of $3,500 - $6,000 and junior pay of $2,200 - $3,500.
