Description

  • Own and build new features for a cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage mobile releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app store infrastructure to support safe rollouts to millions of active users.
  • Partner with product, design, business, backend, and QA teams to evaluate and meet stakeholder needs.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code across the mobile application and related systems.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the application, data domain, and key performance indicators.
  • Lead features end-to-end from requirements and design through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Drive technical decisions and propose improvements that raise code quality across the team.
  • Mentor junior or mid-level engineers and perform high-quality code reviews.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 2+ years in React Native or similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience with native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C and native Android development using Kotlin or Java.
  • Experience developing and shipping mobile applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
  • Ability to work with mobile CI/CD tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
  • Preferred: knowledge of backend-focused languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
  • Preferred: familiarity with microservice architectures composed of HTTP APIs.
  • Preferred: experience implementing automated tests in a CI environment.
  • Preferred: experience working with native code on iOS and Android.
