Description

  • Own and build new features for a cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage mobile releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure to support safe rollouts.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, business, backend, and QA teams to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code across the mobile stack.
  • Develop deep understanding of the application, data domain, and key business metrics.
  • Lead features end-to-end from requirements and design through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Review code and drive improvements that increase maintainability, clarity, and engineering best practices.
  • Mentor junior or mid-level engineers and help elevate team code quality.
  • Participate in technical decision-making and propose improvements to systems and workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 2+ years with React Native or similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience with native iOS code using Swift or Objective-C and native Android code using Kotlin or Java.
  • Experience delivering mobile applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
  • Ability to work with mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and performing high-quality code reviews.
  • Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages such as Go, Python, or Java, preferred.
  • Familiarity with microservice architectures composed of HTTP APIs, preferred.
