Description

  • Build and maintain new product features in a cross-platform TypeScript React Native mobile app.
  • Collaborate with product owners and team members to understand features and propose improvements.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions for upcoming platform features.
  • Contribute code directly and participate in code reviews.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.
  • Support the mobile app as a platform for larger product releases across multiple teams.
  • Assist with planning, estimation, and project completion with stakeholders.
  • Learn new areas of the product and help solve challenges in high-traffic applications.

Requirements

  • Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred, or equivalent related experience.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • React Native or React web experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing and releasing a mobile application to the App Store or Google Play Store preferred.
  • Knowledge of automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Familiarity with React Native app design principles and RESTful APIs.
  • Close familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodologies, and release processes.
  • Experience with Golang, Python, MySQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, AWS, Kubernetes, Git, or GitLab is relevant to the stack.
