Description

  • Work cross-functionally with IT, Legal, and Compliance to establish and maintain third-party risk standards and governance practices.
  • Conduct vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring, including consumer-impact risk review, complaint analysis, and privacy/data protection validation.
  • Manage third-party risk documentation and reporting, including the vendor and data processor inventory.
  • Ensure timely onboarding and offboarding due diligence for vendors.
  • Execute periodic compliance reviews to support program oversight.
  • Perform day-to-day risk assessments to determine vendor criticality and inherent risk exposure.
  • Assess vendor risks related to PII handling, BSA/AML, and credit decisioning.
  • Coordinate with Legal to ensure effective contracts are in place for third-party partners.
  • Partner with Information Security to validate technical safeguards of vendors.
  • Track, identify, and escalate risk events or performance failures to senior leadership and bank partners through issue-tracking systems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in vendor risk management, procurement, or third-party compliance.
  • Experience in fintech or regulated financial services is preferred.
  • Understanding of the third-party risk management lifecycle and regulatory guidance, including PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, and BSA/AML.
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of vendor assessments.
  • Experience maintaining audit-readiness for bank partners and regulators.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $5,000 - $7,500 USD gross per month.
  • Contractor compensation structure.
  • Remote, full-time role.
