Description

  • Work with a team of 5-15 DevOps and SRE engineers to deliver program requirements.
  • Build and maintain scalable, highly reliable, and performant large-scale cloud systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure, automated software delivery.
  • Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant systems across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Define, implement, and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to support service reliability and performance.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and CloudWatch.
  • Support incident response, postmortems, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability and security into application design, deployment, and the SDLC.
  • Support capacity planning and forecasting to ensure systems can scale effectively.
  • Develop infrastructure as code and deploy, manage, and optimize cloud applications, containers, and virtualized environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, with additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (IAT-2) is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and encryption techniques.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Argo CD.
  • Experience with Zero Trust Architecture is preferred.
  • Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle clouds are preferred.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and ELK Stack is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of networking, Linux/Unix systems, and version control systems such as Git is preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, Bash, and Go is preferred.
  • Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Example certifications such as CKAD, KCNA, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified AWS SysAdmin, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, AWS Certified Security, Azure Developer Associate, and Azure Solutions Architect are preferred.
