Description

  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of 6–8, including onboarding, performance management, feedback, and career planning.
  • Own a portfolio of $800K–$1MM+ and support client retention, upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, including CMOs and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Translate long-term SEO and GEO impact into business outcomes such as revenue, pipeline, lifetime value, and ROI.
  • Develop integrated growth recommendations in partnership with Paid Media, Creative, and Client Engagement teams.
  • Advance Seer’s SEO and GEO offerings by testing emerging AI-search practices and creating repeatable methodologies.
  • Build AI fluency across the team by piloting tools, workflows, and innovation initiatives.
  • Set strategic direction for organic search across accounts and guide account teams without directly executing the work.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting new team members.
  • Share industry trends, testing results, and insights with clients and the broader digital marketing community.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a team of approximately 6–8 people, including hiring, coaching, difficult feedback, and professional development.
  • Hands-on agency experience in SEO and GEO across areas such as content strategy, enterprise SEO, PR, paid media, or analytics.
  • Deep experience with GEO, including AI Overviews, LLM-powered discovery, and generative search interfaces.
  • Experience testing and implementing strategies to improve visibility across traditional search and AI-driven search.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve individual or team workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Strong executive-level client management and communication skills, including experience working with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Ability to connect SEO and GEO strategies to business metrics such as rankings, traffic, conversions, revenue, pipeline, and lifetime value.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills in high-intensity client and team situations.
  • Proven ability to identify account-growth opportunities and increase client revenue.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing tools and processes, and work effectively in a continued-learning environment.
