Description

  • Own a portfolio of 10–15 client accounts and serve as the executive-level SEO lead across the book of business.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with empathy, transparency, and a focus on helping clients exceed goals.
  • Manage C-suite and CMO relationships, translating SEO and GEO outcomes into business value and long-term ROI.
  • Identify and pursue upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities across the client portfolio.
  • Partner with Paid Media, Creative, and Client Engagement teams to deliver integrated growth recommendations.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide support on their work as needed.
  • Set the strategic quality bar for SEO and GEO work and direct account teams toward the right goals.
  • Help recruit future team members by participating in sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Share thought leadership and industry knowledge with clients and the broader digital marketing community.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and test and share new approaches with the team.

Requirements

  • Hands-on agency experience across content strategy, enterprise SEO, PR, paid media, and/or analytics.
  • Hands-on GEO experience, including understanding of AI Overviews, LLM-powered discovery, and generative search interfaces.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategies to improve visibility across both traditional SEO and GEO.
  • Strong client management skills with comfort presenting to C-level executives.
  • Experience navigating client organizations at the C-suite level and earning trust from senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to frame SEO and GEO impact in business terms such as revenue, pipeline, and lifetime value.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to diffuse high-intensity situations.
  • Consistent track record of identifying account growth opportunities and driving increased revenue.
  • Comfort with continued learning, innovation, and adapting to new tools and processes.
  • Must be based in the US and able to work continental US-based hours; remote-first or Philadelphia-based.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency is preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary of $95,000-$115,000 annually.
  • Final compensation is based on skills and experience.
  • Compensation is reviewed at least once per year.
  • Remote-first work environment.
  • Option to work from the Philadelphia HQ office.
