Description

  • Help define what mobile means for an entire industry.
  • Continuously improve the application architecture.
  • Own the development of new features from conception through design, development, and release.
  • Partner with, teach, and learn from other Android engineers and teams.
  • Collaborate with the design team to set new standards for app beauty and usability on Android.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building Android apps.
  • Strong programming ability in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Interest in working across technologies such as Python for API development and Swift for iOS development.
  • Preference for candidates who have delivered production code in both Swift and Kotlin.
  • Experience developing beautiful, useful apps that are live in the Google Play Store.
  • Comfort driving architecture decisions and applying best practices.
  • Enjoyment of handling significant responsibility and seeing large projects through to completion.
  • Attention to detail, including both visual polish and view-model quality.
  • Care about building products that are used and loved by many.
  • Experience with Android Studio, Anvil, Retrofit 2 + OkHttp, and Kotlinx Serialization is a plus.
