Description

  • Partner with product, design, engineering, and marketing teams to shape roadmaps by sizing opportunities, evaluating impact, and turning complex data into actionable insights.
  • Lead analytical work end to end, including opportunity sizing, experimental design, and deep-dive diagnostics using structured and unstructured data.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner in product planning by connecting analytics to company strategy and market trends.
  • Create or improve core datasets and contribute to the analytics tooling ecosystem, including dbt, Hex, and Mixpanel.
  • Design, frame, and evaluate experiments using best-practice methodologies to isolate causal effects and interpret noisy data.
  • Mentor peers on analysis design, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement without direct management responsibility.
  • Represent analytics in leadership discussions and help embed analytical thinking into major product decisions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related role, preferably in tech, ecommerce marketplaces, or consumer products.
  • Experience working on engagement loops or retention strategy.
  • Strong fluency in SQL and comfort with Python or R for exploratory analysis and modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to own ambiguous problem spaces from problem framing through recommendations.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, and analyzing complex product behavior through data.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analyses, defend methodology choices, and drive action.
  • Collaborative mindset and emotional intelligence, with a reputation for being a trusted thought partner.
  • Bonus: prior experience in B2B2C businesses, contributing to or building data infrastructure such as event tracking or dbt modeling, or familiarity with marketing technology.
  • Required languages include SQL, with Python listed as a nice-to-have.
  • Familiarity with the listed stack is beneficial, including Airflow, Fivetran, Redshift, mParticle, Eppo, Looker, Hex, GitLab, Claude Code, and Hex Agent.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $108,000 to $156,000 USD.
  • Equity eligibility as part of total compensation.
