Description

  • Reopen dormant relationships with architects and developers and initiate new business conversations with relevant firms.
  • Execute outbound business development through phone calls and email follow-up using a disciplined cadence.
  • Review proposal history and contact context to tailor outreach with relevance rather than generic messaging.
  • Adapt conversations in real time with senior professionals and move interested contacts toward meetings, calls, or lunches with the President.
  • Build and maintain an outreach tracker with cadence, notes, status, follow-ups, and relationship insights.
  • Log outcomes, next steps, and reasons deals were lost or stalled, including pricing, timing, or relationship factors.
  • Research target firms by reviewing websites, leadership, and recent projects before outreach.
  • Coordinate calendars, draft professional emails, and manage inbound requests, drawings, and inquiries so nothing is missed.
  • Track active proposals or projects, monitor deadlines and missing items, and support QuickBooks coordination as needed.
  • Review LinkedIn messages and connection requests, update marketing materials, and identify new firms, partnerships, or opportunities worth pursuing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with outbound business development using calls and email, ideally in AEC, engineering, construction, or a similar professional-services environment.
  • Comfort initiating conversations with senior professionals without scripts or step-by-step guidance.
  • Ability to build and maintain a tracking system and follow-up cadence independently.
  • Strong organization skills with consistent documentation of conversations, insights, and next steps.
  • Ability to write clear, professional executive-level emails.
  • Comfort asking direct questions, including why proposals were lost or deals stalled.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and create structure where none exists.
  • Willingness to work fully remote from the Philippines and align with US Pacific Time business hours.
  • Comfort with video calls and ability to submit a 1–2 minute introduction video as part of the application.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, RingCentral, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks support is expected; an outreach tracker and proposal history tracker will be used and maintained.
  • Preferred: experience working with architects, developers, or other AEC decision-makers in relationship-driven business development.
