Description

  • Lead or support SAP PM implementation, enhancement, and support activities across ECC and S/4HANA systems.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs.
  • Configure SAP PM processes including equipment management, work orders, breakdown and preventive maintenance, notifications, task lists, maintenance plans, and refurbishment.
  • Integrate SAP PM with related modules such as MM, QM, CO, PS, PP, and EAM.
  • Support data migration, testing, user training, and go-live activities.
  • Work with business stakeholders to improve asset management and maintenance processes.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and recommend system improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on S/4HANA transformation, brownfield, or greenfield projects.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP PM Consultant.
  • Strong functional expertise in SAP PM across both ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA innovations such as Fiori apps, Maintenance Management, and Asset Management.
  • Experience with equipment hierarchy, maintenance order processing, planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM, QM, FI/CO, and other relevant modules.
  • Ability to create functional specifications and work with ABAP teams on custom developments.
  • Good understanding of master data including Equipment, Functional Locations, BOMs, and Task Lists.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Domain experience in Mining or Oil & Gas (Upstream, Midstream, or Downstream) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of shutdowns/turnarounds, asset integrity, or reliability engineering is preferred.
  • Exposure to SAP EAM, SAP MRS, or SAP Mobility solutions is preferred.
  • Experience in predictive maintenance or asset performance management is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • SAP PM certification is an advantage.
