Description

  • Own and drive assigned projects from concept through Final Investment Decision and Notice to Proceed.
  • Build and maintain development plans, milestone schedules, and deliverable trackers.
  • Lead feasibility studies, site screening, and early-stage configuration decisions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional deliverables for internal approvals and external diligence.
  • Develop and submit interconnection applications and manage study processes end to end.
  • Compile technical inputs across internal and external teams, including load assumptions, one-lines, protection schemes, and equipment requirements.
  • Maintain interconnection trackers, timelines, and risk logs, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Build and manage permitting plans, schedules, submission packages, and compliance tracking.
  • Coordinate environmental and regulatory studies, filings, and permit obligations.
  • Drive land and site control efforts, including leases, easements, access agreements, and third-party agreement tracking.
  • Oversee site due diligence across environmental, geotechnical, survey, and title work and synthesize findings into actionable outputs.
  • Maintain integrated project controls, including schedules, budget trackers, risk registers, deliverable trackers, decision logs, and executive-ready reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in energy, infrastructure, or large capital project development.
  • Demonstrated experience advancing projects through interconnection, permitting, site control, and FID/NTP readiness.
  • Strong understanding of the power generation, energy, or infrastructure industry.
  • Experience with the project development lifecycle, including interconnection, permitting, land/site control, and early-stage commercial structuring.
  • Proven ability to drive execution across cross-functional teams and deliver milestones.
  • Experience engaging with utilities, regulators, landowners, and other third-party stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage consultants and vendors with scopes, deliverables, and performance expectations.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen to support investment decisions and evaluate trade-offs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creation of executive-ready materials and presentations.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, delivery-focused consulting environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Experience managing external consultants, Owner’s Engineers, or EPC interfaces.
  • Experience supporting large-scale generation, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
