Description

  • Administer sales variable payments, including commissions, draws, MBOs, and SPIFFs for assigned sales teams.
  • Apply commission plans consistently and ensure calculations comply with company policies.
  • Manage exception requests, commission inquiries, adjustments, and corrections in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and distribute sales compensation plan documents and templates accurately and on schedule.
  • Validate accrual and payment results and explain commission-related variances and business drivers.
  • Document and maintain business processes for monthly and quarterly close, commission accounting tasks, and audits.
  • Support commission participant setup for new hires, terminations, and compensation changes, including SOX audit controls.
  • Perform user acceptance testing for new or modified sales incentive administration tool configurations.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements that scale Sales Compensation operations.
  • Collaborate with Sales Management, Sales Operations, Finance, and Business Technology teams to ensure accurate incentive plan administration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Compensation role.
  • Experience at a high-growth technology company or a company with 500+ employees is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Experience with automated sales commission systems such as Xactly, SAP, Anaplan, or Oracle EIM.
  • Demonstrated success in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, business acumen, and awareness of business trends.
  • High motivation, responsibility, and flexibility.
