Description

  • Manage the Resident Consultant team while scaling and improving the service offering.
  • Ensure enterprise customers realize ongoing value from Samsara’s Resident Consultant services.
  • Define and execute long-term team strategies that support excellent customer service.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain a high-performing and inclusive team.
  • Keep executives informed on progress and advocate for changes when needed.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer executives, end users, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Finance to solve customer issues and drive outcomes.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.
  • Lead from the front and stay hands-on when needed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Customer Success, account management, or consulting.
  • 3+ years of management experience, including recruiting and retaining top talent.
  • Experience working with $1M+ ACV customers.
  • Experience with Enterprise SaaS.
  • Ability to travel within the United States for customer meetings and events up to 25%.
  • Experience delivering structured value to achieve measurable business outcomes using a defined engagement methodology.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management, communication, emotional intelligence, and prioritization skills.
  • Proven ability to build trust and communicate effectively across customer executives, users, and internal teams.
  • Solutions-focused with strong problem-solving skills and a bias for action.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing with excellence.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, change-heavy environment.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive team environment that values diverse perspectives.
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year institution.
  • Experience leading teams where each member managed a portfolio of 8-20 accounts, preferred.
  • Experience using Gainsight, preferred.
  • Strong program management experience, preferred.
  • Strategic consulting experience, preferred.
  • Proven track record of partnering with account executives on commercial expansion strategies, preferred.
