Description

  • Capture and edit world-class video productions as required by the business.
  • Drive video strategy and solve complex, ambiguous problems with broad impact across multiple functional areas.
  • Influence the direction of Samsara’s visual media and contribute to the company’s creative strategy.
  • Lead investigations into complex production issues, identify root causes, and define roadmaps for major video problem areas.
  • Orchestrate complex video initiatives across multiple teams and build consensus across organizational boundaries.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles in every production.
  • Manage equipment inventory and prioritize additional equipment needs within budget and resource constraints.
  • Source and manage freelance video production support for shoots and projects.
  • Work cross-functionally with Motion Design to ensure brand consistency across projects.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in video production and strategy.
  • Deep understanding of evolving video technologies and AI-enhanced production tools.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional video projects from concept to delivery.
  • Ability to work remotely while being based within 90 minutes of Samsara’s SF Corporate Office.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Eligibility to work in the specified location and maintain the legal right to work, if applicable.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $151,300 to $178,000 USD.
  • Eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff.
