Description

  • Lead and grow the enterprise field sales organization to meet growth and revenue targets.
  • Implement effective coaching and development programs for Field Sales Representatives.
  • Hire, develop, and maintain an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing sales team.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define, implement, and track performance metrics.
  • Coordinate Field Sales Engineers and cross-functional support teams to ensure customer expectations and performance objectives are met.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles across the team and regions.
  • Act as an energetic evangelist introducing Samsara’s technology and sell into all levels of enterprise organizations (technology and lines of business).

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technology sales experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing or supervising a sales team (management capacity).
  • Proven track record of training, leading, motivating, and delivering results with enterprise sales teams (history of over-achievement such as Presidents Club is a plus).
  • Experience leading and building Field Sales teams (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Comfortable selling into all levels of an enterprise organization, including both technical stakeholders and lines of business.
  • Ability to recruit, hire, and develop an inclusive and high-performing team.
  • Ability to work remotely from the United States and maintain legal right to work in the US.
