Description

  • Develop and maintain cloud services and APIs in C#/.NET to integrate with scan tools.
  • Process firmware binaries, including parsing pcm files and performing checksum validation.
  • Analyze CAN logs and troubleshoot vehicle communication issues using sniffer tools such as Vehicle Spy.
  • Handle support engineering tickets and work directly with field engineers and customers.
  • Diagnose communication problems across UDS, J1939, and OEM-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with embedded developers by reviewing C code and supporting firmware-related problem solving.
  • Implement secure and efficient cloud-to-device data transfer solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience developing cloud applications in C#/.NET.
  • Ability to read and understand C code for debugging and collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of CAN bus communication and related protocols, including UDS and J1939.
  • Experience analyzing CAN traffic with tools such as Vehicle Spy, PCAN, or similar.
  • Knowledge of ECU/TCU firmware formats and checksum algorithms.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Automotive reverse engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with Python and Java or scripting for automation.
  • Understanding of security best practices for embedded and cloud systems.
