Description

  • Write clean, well-designed, high-quality code with readability, efficiency, and maintainability in mind.
  • Produce detailed technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases to ensure optimization and functionality.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Develop and deploy new features and related tools or procedures as needed.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Analyze and improve application performance.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven software development experience with PHP and Laravel, preferably in high-traffic or complex systems.
  • Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), AJAX, and responsive interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with third-party APIs such as Google, Facebook, and payment gateways.
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including complex query optimization.
  • Proficiency with Git and Git Flow.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
  • Familiarity with caching, queues, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
  • Strong understanding of best practices such as SOLID principles and design patterns.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or CI/CD pipelines is a bonus.
