Description

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to sell RxVantage Enterprise services and expand market share within assigned target and portfolio life sciences customers.
  • Sell into a portfolio of up to 30 life sciences companies, actively driving a sales pipeline with a clear path to close for all opportunities.
  • Define and propose growth opportunities within prospective and existing clients and translate those opportunities into commercial proposals.
  • Identify and strategically target key stakeholders and decision makers across functions (sales, marketing, market access, digital, analytics) and coordinate internal resources to implement solutions.
  • Manage sales targets and forecast accurately, ensuring attainment of revenue goals and consistent pipeline health.
  • Ensure prospective and current clients recognize RxVantage as a strategic partner and lead relationship positioning throughout the sales cycle.
  • Partner with the Life Sciences Customer Success team to identify expansion opportunities and ensure an outstanding end-to-end client experience.
  • Act as an internal coach and mentor by providing direction, guidance, and ongoing feedback related to individual and team performance, and support RFP/contract processes (MSA/SOW) as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of business development experience selling SaaS, technology, and/or data into life sciences companies.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledgeable of selling SaaS solutions into the commercial brand level of pharma.
  • Established and strong relationships with U.S. commercial leaders across the life sciences industry.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships quickly and based on trust.
  • Strong business strategy and analytical skills, with expert-level ability to interpret relevant metrics.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms.
  • Experience writing, reviewing, and responding to life sciences RFPs and managing contracts (MSA/SOW).
  • Experience developing and executing complex business strategies for life sciences clients and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
