Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of core systems powering Runware’s AI platform.
  • Build and evolve backend APIs, SDKs, dashboards, and developer tools.
  • Integrate and optimise image and video models, and support new modalities such as audio and custom LLMs.
  • Architect scalable and reliable systems for inference orchestration and workload optimisation.
  • Partner with platform and infrastructure teams to improve performance, reliability, and observability.
  • Shape technical direction through architectural discussions and long-term planning.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews and design reviews to raise technical quality.
  • Contribute to documentation and tooling that improve the developer experience.
  • Drive initiatives that improve how the platform is built, deployed, and maintained.

Requirements

  • Deep experience building distributed and high-performance systems.
  • Strong programming skills in PHP, Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable backend systems and APIs.
  • Understanding of asynchronous workloads, queues, and streaming data.
  • Experience working with cloud and bare-metal infrastructure.
  • Strong system design, performance optimisation, and scalability skills.
  • Clear communicator who can lead technical projects and collaborate across teams.
  • Passion for mentoring others and raising engineering standards.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to balance short-term progress and long-term vision.
