Description

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal teams during pre-sales activities.
  • Assist in the analysis, design, and development of integrated technology solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Rubrik’s products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings.
  • Act as a technical expert and consultant to propose solutions that meet customer technology and business needs.
  • Deliver technical and sales presentations to customer technical staff and senior management.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor and internal resource for technical issues and business applications.
  • Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers to support sales objectives.
  • Lead technical sales calls and customer demonstrations.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements, competition, decision-making process, and funding.
  • Drive pipeline generation, POCs, and day-to-day account-level activities with AEs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales engineering experience, preferably in a software or data center environment.
  • Fundamental technical knowledge of cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
  • Experience working with CxO-level personnel and translating technology into business solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple calls and demos per day and immediate follow-up.
  • Strong hands-on, self-starter mindset with a “can do” approach.
  • Entrepreneurial work style with strong work ethic and resourcefulness.
  • Highly energetic, adaptable, and open-minded.
  • Experience in technical leadership and customer-facing solution development is preferred.
