Description

  • Provide technical direction and business guidance to the regional sales team.
  • Lead pre-sales technical support for assigned accounts and market opportunities.
  • Design and develop fully integrated technology solutions for customers.
  • Act as a technical expert on Rubrik products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings.
  • Develop and propose solutions that address customer technology and business requirements.
  • Deliver technical presentations and sales presentations to customer technical teams and senior management.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers and an internal resource on technical issues and business applications.
  • Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers to support sales objectives.
  • Lead technical sales calls.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements, competition, decision-making process, and funding.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of sales engineering experience, preferably in a software or data center environment.
  • Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
  • Experience working with CxO-level personnel and translating technology solutions into business value.
  • Strong technical understanding of Rubrik’s products, distributed architectures, file systems, and SAN storage offerings.
  • Highly energetic, hands-on, and driven with a strong "can do" approach.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and a resourceful, "get it done" attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple calls and demos per day with immediate follow-up.
  • Smart, adaptable, and open-minded.
  • Preferred qualifications in sales engineering for software or data center environments.
