Description

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff during pre-sales activities.
  • Assist in the analysis, design, and development of fully integrated technology solutions.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise on Rubrik products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings.
  • Act as a technical expert and consultant to propose solutions that meet customer technology and business requirements.
  • Deliver technical and sales presentations to customer technical teams and senior management.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers and as an internal resource on technical issues and business applications.
  • Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers to support sales objectives.
  • Lead technical sales calls and qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements, competition, decision process, and funding.
  • Drive innovative technical programs and oversee day-to-day account-level activities to support regional revenue goals.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of sales engineering experience, preferably in a software or data center environment.
  • Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
  • Experience working with CxO-level stakeholders and translating technology solutions into business outcomes.
  • Strong work ethic with a hands-on, can-do, and entrepreneurial approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple calls and demos per day and immediate follow-up.
  • Highly energetic, driven, smart, adaptable, and open-minded.
  • Experience in pre-sales activities and technical solution selling.
  • Knowledge of Rubrik’s products, distributed architectures, file systems, and SAN competitive storage offerings.
  • Preferred background in software or data center environments.
