Description

  • Help drive the frontend architecture to the next stage of Roofr’s systems.
  • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning through delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop technical requirements.
  • Write clean code to build functional web applications and reusable libraries.
  • Write unit, functional, and acceptance tests.
  • Troubleshoot and support production applications.
  • Work in a fast-paced cross-functional team with an engineering-first culture.
  • Recommend initiatives to improve engineering technologies and culture.
  • Help steer the technology roadmap through technical implementation contributions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience holding a Senior Engineering title.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong experience with JavaScript and React + Redux.
  • Experience with SCSS.
  • Experience interacting with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience building frontend testing and automation systems for unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests.
  • Champion of agile methodologies and comfortable shipping code often and confidently.
  • Ability to break down complex problems into incremental solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and appreciation for good documentation.
  • Experience working in an early-stage company environment (preferred).
