Description

  • Own day-to-day WordPress operations, technical troubleshooting, security, access practices, patching, and monthly maintenance.
  • Use analytics to identify and implement UI/UX improvements that enhance accessibility, performance, and engagement.
  • Translate Figma designs and systems into responsive, production-ready, on-brand pages.
  • Collaborate with creative and cross-functional teams on technical feasibility, third-party integrations, APIs, and analytics tracking.
  • Manage website projects from brief through launch, including stakeholder alignment, success metrics, quality assurance, and launch execution.
  • Support website migrations, redesigns, and other larger web initiatives.
  • Drive AEO, SEO, and GEO strategies, including keyword research, content-gap analysis, on-page optimization, and structured data implementation.
  • Build automated web and search performance reports, monitor metrics, and present recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production websites, including substantial WordPress experience.
  • Strong Elementor or comparable page-builder skills and proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and custom WordPress theme or plugin development.
  • Experience with Git, modern development workflows, and preferably WP Engine.
  • Experience with REST APIs, third-party integrations, GA4, Google Tag Manager, event tracking, and data-layer configuration.
  • Ability to build dashboards and clearly communicate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • In-depth SEO expertise, including AEO/GEO and AI search visibility strategies.
  • Practical knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and responsible handling of sensitive data.
  • Experience owning production systems and maintaining secure patching and access practices.
  • Strong design judgment, Figma implementation skills, prioritization, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred: experience in K-12 or healthcare, website migration or replatforming, CI/CD, A/B testing, and experimentation; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

  • Annual base salary of $115,000–$135,000.
