Description

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle end to end, including driving role kickoffs, launching requisitions, coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, and closing hires.
  • Scale the organization from 30 to 60 employees within the next 12 months through proactive sourcing and pipeline management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates from first conversation through decision to create a strong candidate experience and maintain engagement.
  • Drive role scoping and calibration by ensuring hiring managers clearly define scope, responsibilities, and success criteria before roles launch.
  • Design structured interview processes that translate role requirements into interview stages, interviewer assignments, and suggested assessment questions.
  • Operate and maintain accuracy of the ATS (Greenhouse), keep recruiting data clean, and manage day-to-day ATS operations.
  • Track recruiting metrics and role funnels, diagnose hiring bottlenecks, and propose and implement targeted fixes to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Collaborate directly with the CEO and senior leadership to ensure hiring processes are rigorous and roles are scoped correctly.
  • Continuously improve hiring processes, systems, and playbooks while standing up the recruiting function from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Approximately 7–10+ years of experience in recruiting or adjacent operator roles with hands-on ownership of sourcing, screening, and running hiring end to end.
  • Proven track record of finding and winning strong candidates using creative channels when standard approaches fail.
  • Experience operating on very small or early-stage recruiting teams and owning hiring without layers of support.
  • Strong judgment and the confidence to push back on hiring managers and the CEO around role scope, quality, and process.
  • Highly organized and operationally rigorous, with experience owning systems, processes, and maintaining clean recruiting data.
  • Ability to translate vague role definitions into clear hiring criteria and evaluate candidates based on signal rather than pedigree.
  • Demonstrated ability to build genuine rapport with candidates and serve as a credible, compelling first touchpoint.
  • Familiarity with an ATS (Greenhouse experience preferred) and comfort managing ATS setup and day-to-day operations.
