Description

  • Monitor the health, availability, and performance of servers, services, and customer environments.
  • Identify infrastructure issues, performance degradation, and potential service disruptions.
  • Investigate alerts, participate in incident response, and coordinate troubleshooting during customer-impacting events.
  • Provide advanced technical support for VIP customers and complex hosting-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot servers, websites, networking, DNS, performance, caching, and platform behavior.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Linux-based production environments and services including NGINX, Apache, PHP-FPM, MySQL/MariaDB, and Redis.
  • Assist with server maintenance, configuration changes, security updates, system hardening, and operational improvements.
  • Improve monitoring, automation, documentation, and troubleshooting workflows.
  • Collaborate with Support and Engineering teams, provide technical guidance, and participate in root cause analysis and incident reviews.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
  • Strong experience troubleshooting Linux production environments and using the Linux command line via SSH.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing technical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of NGINX, Apache, PHP-FPM, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, WordPress, DNS, networking, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, CDN, caching, Cloudflare, WAF, and web performance optimization.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and incident response processes.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues and clearly communicate technical solutions in English.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure during customer-impacting incidents.
  • Experience with managed WordPress hosting, VIP or enterprise support, and high-traffic websites preferred.
  • Knowledge of Bash, yum/dnf, automation tools, observability platforms such as Netdata or Datadog, incident management, and postmortems preferred.
